Controversial dancehall star Vybz Kartel is currently in police custody on charges of marijuana possession.

Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, was picked up by police officers in Kingston on Friday morning (September 30), just after he finished shooting scenes for his reality TV show Teacha’s Pet.

According to police report, the self proclaimed Worl’Boss was charged with Ganja possession along with two others persons whose names was not release.

Reliable sources in the police force told Urban Islandz that the deejay is being questioned by investigators in relation to a burnt and decomposing body found in a partially burnt home belonging to the deejay. The source said the deejay is also being question in relation to a recent triple murder in the Portmore community.

It is unknown if the deejay will be charged in relation to the murders.
