Jordan Sparks and John Legend Perform a Tribute to Whitney Houston at The 2012 Billboard Music Awards
May 21, 2012 By joydaily | FILE UNDER: Daily Ranting, featured

The Billboard Awards got a bit emotional last night as John Legend took to the stage to perform, ‘The Greatest Love Of All’ followed by Jordin Sparks who performed a very beautiful rendition of ‘I Will Always Love You’. Jordin Sparks was best suited to sing the tribute since she grew close to Whitney while filming the remake of ‘Sparkle’.The performance brought Bobbi Kristina to tears and she later took to the stage to accept the Millennium Award on behalf of her mother along with her aunt Pat Houston.

Bobbi Kristina said…

I just really want to say thank you to everyone who supported us through it all, not just from when it was good, but when it was bad, to just everything. Thank you so much for showing that much love, because she deserved it. I’m just blessed to have been in such an incredible woman’s life. There will never be another one, ever.
