Complexion Obsession DVD
Take a Journey through the industry to find out why there is an Obsession with our Complexion.

Look, I’m going to say this one time so that people can understand something. Both of what happened to Haiti and New Orleans were unfortunate. I highly doubt that we will ever forget them for as long as we live. When I hear people make comments about the immediate response to Haiti and lack there of to New Orleans it pisses me off because a lot of people are focusing on the wrong things. Number one, who was President in 2005? Need I say more? Are you serious? Come on. Now don’t get it twisted because yeah even though the government moved like molasses to help N.O, the people stepped up, I don’t care what anyone says. And even though it may seem as if what happened in N.O. is ‘old news’ it will NEVER be old and we STILL can help rebuild it. We can still help our fellow Americans. It’s that poor *ss attitude that’s refraining us from lifting up our brothers and sisters in the U.S. Get all that animosity outta here because it’s wack. Who’s President now? Look, I know that politicians are not really trustworthy and they talk the talk but never really walk the walk, but something tells me that if Barack were President things would have played out differently. If President Obama were in office in 05, then there would be a whole new meaning of “a sense of urgency” or “state of emergency” for the Katrina victims. The immediate response for Haiti does NOT mean under any circumstances that Haiti’s disaster is more important then New Orleans. Watch, give it about a few weeks… soon Haiti’s disaster will be ‘old news’ and the media will move on to the next tragedy, but you know what? We can’t leave it behind. We (US as in you and me) have to kill all that noise and deal with the situation our damn selves when they say on to the next one. Kill all that noise Joy and Weezy. Stop it, like really.
I think there are a lot of different reasons why Haiti received more help and quicker.
1. Different president and government. ( you think Bush or his wife would have been on TV asking to help Haiti, they would of continued playing golf and whatever it is that she did)
2. They want that land down there in New Orleans.
3. What an accomplishment it would be to have the first black independent land under you.
4. Wyclef really was out there doing a lot to get support for Haiti.
5. And the whole world is looking at America, to see what there going to do in this crisis.
6. You know America is always in other ppl affairs.
for now that is all i can think of.
Bill Clinton and Donald Trump have plans to build a casino resort in Haiti and I think that’s why the medias is putting so much energy into helping Haiti. They need the peoples money to rebuild Haiti so that their plans can be carried out as intended.
I think that America does need to work on taking care of home first before we start lending our services else where. However, the statement lil Wayne made is true BUT very bias! Because that is where is “home” is of course you are going to be raise all kind of noise because you feel where you are from and the service it gets represents you and what service you receive. Please understand if I was in the position of racing between servicing Haiti or victims of Katrina I would choose Haiti. They have “so far” lost 30% of their population for the COUNTRY!!! Yes, we lost a large number of people in Katrina and yes, we are still fighting to see these people get back to their homes. In America we have a large amount of local help. For example, I would have love to go to Haiti and assist with the recovery and rebuilding but my life schedule does not prevent me to, so I do what I can in my community. Deliverying food to shelters, working with at-risk youth, helping the elderly, volunteering for a nationally known organization for cancer prevention, and give money when and where ever I can. Don’t hold the govenment accountable until you hold your community AND surrounding communities accountable first. People follow suit from a larger scale. How can you expect the big people up top to make things happen if the people you see everyday are not backing you? DETERMINATION brings MOTIVATION to CHANGE A NATION.
